Do you have a price list?
All of our cakes are bespoke and designed to suit your individual requirements so we do not have a standard price list. Please contact us for a no obligation quote.
When and how do I order my cake?
Wedding Cakes
We would suggest that to avoid disappointment, wedding cakes should be ordered between 6-18 months in advance. Your date can be secured with a £50 deposit. Final decisions about the size and style of the cake can be made up to 1 month before the wedding date, when the final balance is due.
Celebration Orders
For celebration cakes or cupcakes we suggest that you contact us at least 4 weeks before the date the cake is required to avoid disappointment. A £25 deposit is required to secure celebration cake or cupcake orders. We require payment in full 2 weeks ahead for all celebration cake or cupcake orders and we regret we cannot always accommodate last minute orders.
Deposits and balances are paid online via bank transfer. Receipts will be sent to you via email.
How do I design my cake?
We can help create a design based on the number portions needed, style, colour scheme and budget. For wedding cakes we recommend that you come to see us for a no obligation consultation. The consultation is a great opportunity to discuss your design and try samples. Feel free to bring along colour or material samples, photos and images that you are using as inspiration for your design. We may not be able to replicate a cake made by another cake designer exactly but we can incorporate design elements into the design of your cake.
Can you decorate a cake made by someone else?
We regret that we do not decorate cakes made by third parties.
Can I have a cutting cake?
Yes. If you have a limited budget but have a large number of wedding guests, cutting cakes are a perfect way to increase the number of portions and help reduce costs.
Can I have dummy tiers?
Yes. If you only have a small number of guests at your wedding, but want the cake to look like a large centrepiece having a dummy tier(s) creates this illusion for you and reduces any waste.
Can you deliver?
Yes. Our delivery and set-up charge is from £65 for wedding cakes and this covers a 30 mile return journey. Mileage is then charged at 40p per mile thereafter. Celebration cake or cupcakes delivery is subject to availability and there is a small charge for this. Please contact us for details.
Can you set up my wedding cake at the venue?
Yes. We will arrange set up details with you that fit neatly into your wedding day.
Do you make egg free, vegan, dairy free or gluten free cakes?
Yes. We can make cakes with these dietary requirements in a number of sizes and flavours, please contact us to find out more. We can also offer cupcakes as an alternative and these are perfect if you only need to cater for a small number of guests with special dietary requirements,
